in the third week once the design development was done the final design was selected, a few required changes were made and then after taking the clients measurements the patterns were made.

week 2(client board, trend board and design development)

in the second week the client board was made so that there would be a clarity about the designs that had to be made. the trend board was also made, but unlike the earlier ones where a story was picked, here, different things were picked and put together. there was a silhouette, embellishment, fabric and prints were put together from different trend forecasts. once this was done the design development was made.

advance skills module was all about bespoke tailoring. in this module we had to design for a client. we had to keep in mind the likes and dislikes of our client, from the fabric we'd use, colours we'd pick, silhouettes and even the tiny details, everything had to be picked as per the client. we had to regularly keep in touch with our client. in the first week we made a research file about bespoke tailoring. we visited stores to check the current trends, tailoring workshops, and fabric stores to source fabrics.
