final assessment...

 its true...time flies when your enjoying your work. 

and with this our 2nd year came to an end.just like last year, we had to display all our work for the external examiner. 

WORK PLACEMENT (4 weeks)

4 WEEKS...

it was time for us to do our 1st internship. deciding where to intern was a little confusing but i finally decided to do it with a stylist (Ms. Maneka Harisinghani). 

i was giving to projects to handle... 

one which was for  Bollywood chat show aired on zing London and the other which was consulting for a renowned fashion designers collection.

for the Bollywood chat show i also had a colleague accompany me for the shoots and the consultation project was handled by my classmate and also colleague Raksha Singh and me.

i also got to assist for Maxim magazine shoot done by Nathalia Kaur.

at the end of the internship we were asked to create a document about the internship on what work we'd done and what was our learning outcome.

in the fifth week, the technical sheets and the tailoring report of the final garments were made and the photoshoot of the garment was done.

week 4(toile fits and final garment)

week 4...

in the fourth week once the patterns were made a toile fit was stitched. being a bespoke tailoring module, we had to be sure that the fitting of the garment was perfect. the required changes were made in the toiles and then the final garment was stitched.

jacket:shoulders were to wide,hence appropriate alterations were made & the peplum which was at the lower waist was shifted to the waist.

trouser:the trouser was loose on the hips and waist hence it was altered.
